Staff at the District of West Vancouver recently presented a cost and feasibility report on the relocation of DWV Police and Fire services to a new shared Public Safety Building built to post disaster standards in the District Hall precinct. The report can be found on the District’s Website.
Mayor and Council received the report for information and supported a public involvement process early in 2012 to get public feedback on the proposal. This process is an important step towards a decision to relocate the Police from their current building on the 1300 Block of Marine Drive.
Grosvenor’s team continues to develop plans, view studies and information for a draft rezoning application for the 1300 Block of Marine Drive. We anticipate hosting more public involvement events to share information and feedback once these plans are ready.

Grosvenor had the pleasure of sponsoring the Harmony Arts Best of the West event on the Ambleside pier in West Vancouver. The weather was fantastic as were the conversation and food/wine pairings. Grosvenor placed boards at the beginning of the pier to show case our community involvement and information about the 1300 block.
West Vancouver’s Community Day was another success this year. Grosvenor didn’t want to miss out on the festivities so we set up information booths on our 1300 Block Art Greenway and at the West Vancouver Community Centre. We shared information on our Ideas Fairs and heard from many people who were excited to see revitalization come to the 1300 Block.
